5) In the Updates tab, highlight Drivers and select 'Update Selection' on the right hand side of Line 6 Monkey's user interface. 6) Monkey will connect to our server and download the appropriate drivers for your Line 6 device. 7) After the drivers are downloaded, Line 6 Monkey will exit so the Driver Install Wizard can launch. When you plug the device into your USB, Windows will look for the associated driver, if it cannot find this driver then you will be prompted to insert the driver disc that came with your device. Common USB Device errors are ‘ usb port not working ‘, ‘device descriptor request failed error’ or ‘bugcodeusbdriver’ issues. Download and Installation of Garmin Mode Device Drivers In order for Garmin Mode USB devices to communicate with a Windows computer, Garmin USB drivers need to be installed. These drivers are not needed for newer Garmin devices that use a USB mass storage or Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) interface.

To connect and debug with any of the Google Nexus devices using Windows, youneed to install the Google USB driver.
Install a USB driver
First, find the appropriate driver for your device from the OEM driverstable below. Drivers Rockgroupplc Laptops & desktops.
Once you've downloaded your USB driver, follow the instructions below to install or upgrade thedriver, based on your version of Windows and whether you're installing for the first timeor upgrading an existing driver. Then see Using Hardware Devices forother important information about using an Android device fordevelopment.
Caution:You may make changes to android_winusb.inf
file found insideusb_driver
(for example, to add support for other devices),however, this will lead to security warnings when you install or upgrade thedriver. Making any other changes to the driver files may break the installationprocess.
Windows 10
To install the Android USB driver on Windows 10 for the first time, do the following:
- Connect your Android device to your computer's USB port.
- From Windows Explorer, open Computer Management.
- In the Computer Management left pane, select Device Manager.
- In the Device Manager right pane, locate and expand Portable Devices or Other Devices, depending on which one you see.
- Right-click the name of the device you connected, and then select Update Driver Software.
- In the Hardware Update wizard, select Browse my computer for driver software and click Next.
- Click Browse and then locate the USB driver folder. For example, the Google USB Driver is located in
android_sdkextrasgoogleusb_driver
. - Click Next to install the driver.
Windows 8.1
To install the Android USB driver on Windows 8.1 for the first time, do the following:
- Connect your Android device to your computer's USB port.
- Access search, as follows:
Touch screen: On your computer, swipe in from the right edge of the screen and tap Search.
Using a mouse: Point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Search.
- In the search box, type into and then click Device Manager.
- Double-click the device category, and then double-click the device you want.
- Click the Driver tab, click Update Driver, and follow the instructions.

Installation procedure
1) Download the latest USB driver from the RION Co., LTD. web site (http://www.rion.co.jp/english/).

Select the USB driver from 32 bit version or 64 bit version according to OS of the computer. |
2) Turn power to the NL-42/NL-52/NL-62 on, select [I/O] and set [Communication Interface] to [USB].

The above steps must be completed before connecting the USB cable. |
3) Connect the NL-42/NL-52/NL-62 to the computer with a USB cable.

Connect the NL-42/NL-52/NL-62 directly with the USB cable to the computer. If the NL-42/NL-52/NL-62 is connected via a USB hub, normal operation is not assured. |
4) When the computer detects the NL-42/NL-52/NL-62, the following screens appear in order.

The screens appear only the first time you connect the NL-42/NL-52/NL-62 to the computer. It will not appear during subsequent use. |
5) Right-click on [Computer] icon on the display, and click on the [Properties] on the displayed screen. The system properties screen appears.
6) Click on [Device Manager] to open the Device Manager screen.
7) Right-click on [Other device] - [NL-52] (or NL-42, NL-62) to open the [NL-52 (or NL-42, NL-62) Properties]
8) Click on [Update Driver] under [General] tab.
9) Click on [Browse my computer for driver software].
10) Click on [Browse], then specify the folder to which you have downloaded the driver in step 1, and click on [Next>].
11) The [Windows Security] screen appears. Click on [Install this driver software anyway].

12) A screen like the one below will be shown until the driver installation is complete.
13) Installing is finished when the following screen is displayed. Click on [Close] to close the screen.
When step 13 has been completed, USB communication is enabled.
The driver installation creates a virtual COM port in the computer. For information on how to verify that the installation was successful, see the following section [Checking the virtual COM port].

Checking the virtual COM port
1) After installing the driver, set [Communication Interface] to [USB] at the NL-42/NL-52/NL-62 and connect the NL-42/NL-52/NL-62 to the computer with the USB cable.
2) Right-click on the “computer” icon on the display, and click on the “properties” on the displayed screen. The system properties screen appears.
3) Click on the “Device Manager” to open the Device Manager screen.

4) Click on the + at the left of “Ports (COM & LPT)”.
The indication “RION USB to RS232C Converter Virtual COM Port” should be shown as COM port name. If this is not shown, check the connection between the NL-42/NL-52/NL-62 and the computer (step 1). If there is an “×” over the icon, the port is not functioning normally. Install the driver again.
